Our Mission

To support STEM undergraduates through research stipends, professional and personal development, and team mentorship. We unite students with peers and faculty to promote graduation and high-impact education.

Current Status:

The ASTER program has gone through several iterations since its inception in September 2024. Originally a National Science Foundation program, the funding was terminated as a result of changing federal priorities in May 2025.

Today, each ASTER institution is working hard to find ways to support STEM students through professional development and research experiences.
